Hanh Do is the Co-Founder and CEO, coordinating the overall strategy, business development and supply chain operations of BUYO.

As Director at Esquel Group - one of the global leading apparel and textile manufacturers, Hanh led various business functions in the company, including business development, strategy, government affairs, finance, human resources and retail and distribution. Prior to joining Esquel, Hanh was the Country Representative of the Asia Competitiveness Institute (National University of Singapore) in Vietnam where she worked in affiliation with the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness (Harvard Business School) on enhancing competitiveness in the region. In her earlier career, Hanh was the Chief Representative of Viet Capital Asset Management and the Economic Growth Specialist at USAID Vietnam. Hanh has been advising corporates and organizations on strategy, innovation and business restructuring, including Vingroup, UNIDO, UNDP, VCCI, etc. and published on the subjects of national and corporate strategy, competitiveness, innovation, industrial policy.

Hoa Trinh is the Co-Founder and Partnership and Environmental Director, facilitating strategic partnership with public and private stakeholders and leading the environmental technologies and assessment of the Project.

Concurrently, Hoa coordinates the Vietnam Partnerships for the 2030 Water Resources Group (2030WRG) at the World Bank, supporting coalition building and alliances with key stakeholders for sustainable water resources management. She is active also in fields of Environmental Quality Management and Plastics Pollution Reduction, being a technical consultant for the European Union funded Project, Rethinking of Plastics towards Circular Economy for Vietnam. She used to serve as the Environmental and Climate Change Technical Specialist to Global Affairs Canada in Vietnam and as the Program Manager/Policy Analyst for the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), a leading US-based Environmental Organization, seeding the very first climate change mitigation project on rice paddy in the Mekong Delta. She holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, USA and a Master in Applied Environmental Geosciences from the University of Tuebingen, Germany. She received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam.
 

Thu Vuong is the Co-Founder and CTO, leading R&D and technology areas.

Thu is a Senior Research Associate and Research Manager in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry at the University of Toronto. He is also a Co-founder and CSO of YZymes, a startup in Toronto, which applies engineered enzymes to convert under-utilized agriculture and forestry biomass to biochemicals. He received a Master of Biotechnology from Flinders University, a PhD in Environmental Toxicology from Cornell University, and a certificate of project management from the University of Toronto. He has filed two patent applications and published 31 peer-reviewed papers, mainly on protein engineering and biomass modification. 
 

Linh Le is the Co-Founder and COO, coordinating operations, business development and investor relations. 

Linh is the founder and CEO of flextrapower, a startup company in New York City, NY, which focuses on applying the science of graphene in everyday use with the vision to sense the invisible and enable every human to live a healthier life. Linh Le is a chemical engineer by training, a PhD (ABD) from Stevens Institute of Technology; he has published multiple papers, international conference proceedings. He currently holds eight patents worldwide and is an active investor, mentor and advisor for startups in the field. Most recently, he was appointed as a founding member of the Commercialization Advisory Board for NanoMedicine Innovation Network Canada. Prior to that, he received his MS in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and BS in Chemistry from Vietnam National University.
 

Hieu Tran is the Technical and Operation Engineer of BUYO.

Hieu received his Bachelor degree and Master degree, both in Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He also had 4 years of experience, working in a manufacturing plant as Production Engineer for The Dow Chemical Company. With BUYO team, Hieu’s role is Technical and Operation Engineering, supporting Technology and Operation team in R&D, Product development, Quality control, Operation management and Process engineering.

Khanh Hoang is the Sales Manager of BUYO.

Khanh earned his BA's degree in Business Information System from RMIT, with several years in the US as well. He has had 14+ years of professional experience across marketing, ecom, and tech. Since 2015, he has founded 1 startup and joined 5 others during early stages as a core team member, mostly in charge of operation, strategy, and fundraising.

Chi Le is the Office Manager of BUYO.

Chi received her Bachelor degree in Global Environmental Studies at Clark University. She has had over 5 years of experience with general administration for different NGOs and start-ups in Vietnam. At BUYO, she will help with accounting, HR administration and supply chain management as well.

Phuong Hoang is the Corporate Strategy and Supply Chain Advisor of BUYO.

Mr. Phuong Hoang is the General Manager of AB InBev Vietnam and serves as a member of the Management Committee of BU India and South East Asia.  Before being named GM in January 2021, Phuong was the AB InBev VIetnam's Commercial Director and was responsible for all the company's nationwide sales and operations, including end-to-end management of the commercial strategies, resources, and activities for driving the profitable growth. Prior to joining AB InBev Vietnam, Phuong worked at Asia Pacific Brewery as the Senior Brand Manager for Heineken and at Tien Phong Bank as the lead of Marketing and PR department.

Erik Jonsson is the Business and Investment Advisor of BUYO.

Erik Jonsson is the Vietnam-based Partner of Antler, a global early-stage VC and a strategic investor and partner of BUYO. Erik started his career in London's Square Mile as an investment banker after graduating with a degree in Investment and Financial Risk Management. After a month's trip to Vietnam in 2008, he fell in love with the country and decided to permanently move there in 2011-in fact, just crossing the decade-long milestone as a Vietnam resident a few months ago. He spent his first year in Vietnam with Vietnam Investments Group in the private equity space and subsequently ventured down the entrepreneurial path as Founder/Co-founder/CEO with five different ventures, including Zalora Vietnam. He was identified as one of Sweden's tech super talents by Dagens Industri in 2016. Erik is based in Ho Chi Minh City and is leading Antler's presence in Vietnam.

Chau Khau is the Operations Advisor of BUYO.
 
Mr Chau is the Deputy CEO and Factory Manager of Kien Nam Packaging Company, a packaging manufacturer with over 15 years of experience in the industry and active operations in the Ho Chi Minh City area. He is advising BUYO on factory setup, machinery and equipment, product development and operation management issues.
