BUYO Bioplastics is pleased to announce that it has been awarded first prize at the AB InBev and 5Desire’s 100+ Labs Vietnam competition, receiving a $15,000 grant and a golden ticket to join the Global 100+ Accelerator program. The program is dedicated to supporting the most innovative sustainability start ups around the world.
This marks a significant milestone for BUYO, which has been dedicated to developing innovative solutions for converting biowastes and byproducts including those from the beverage industry into nature-based, biodegradable bioplastics and biomaterials, replacing petroleum-based plastic products. The recognition from AB InBev and 5Desire is a testament to the innovative R&D and dedication of the BUYOteam. The company has recently received a pre-seed funding from Antler, one of the most active early-stage venture investors, with the total portfolio value of $2.5B.
As a member of the Global 100+ Accelerator program, BUYO Company will have the opportunity to collaborate with leading industry experts, including AB InBev, Unilever, Coca Cola, Colgate Palmolive and gain access to valuable resources and support. This will help the company to further develop its technology and bring its solutions to market.
